('01 Jetta) ignition coils were recalled and i paid for them and installed them...?

this was two weeks ago and called to check my recalls and they are on there. im dropping it off tommorow. how much of an opportunity do i have to get a reimbursement for these defective parts? these ones i installed need to be done from the dealer bc its a DMV recall or else i cant register it without do this also..
