Is the last chapter of Malachi only about Elijah (Elyahu) and not the Messiah?

Often Jews and Christians believe they carry the glistening, double-edge sword of God's Word, yet do not realize the meaning of "two edges." Usually zealots for their brand of faith often only carry little, malicious daggers to take jabs at other believers when their beliefs are questioned. Do you believe you have the sure Sword of the Word? Thrust forward and see if your iron can sharpen mine; thrust to the left, and thrust to the right, and answer me this: Whom is greater- Elijah or the Messiah he reveals? Surely you know the Messiah is the greater. Why then would you suppose the rising of the Sun of Righteousness is Elijah? Elijah and Moses come to testify to the Sun of Righteousness, who soon arises with healing in His wings. Does Elijah come to restore and reunite, whereas, Christ separated family? Yes. There was a time to separate and a time to make "one" the people of God, even as Christ prayed this to be fulfilled. Nevertheless, how will one recognize the coming Elijah? Will he be another Orthodox Jew rocking back and forth at the Wall? Can he be found by appearance? You will know him because his sword is much sharper than yours and by the fruit of his mouth. John came preaching that the axe was laid at the root of the tree for an evil generation; the spirit of Elijah comes again with a command written in Isaiah, saying, "Comfort my people; tell her that her warfare is ended, for Jerusalem has received double punishment from the hands of the Lord." Elijah comes to restore all things for the rising of the Sun of Righteousness, that the new day may dawn- the Great Sabbath, but no student is greater than his master. If you knew how to see Elijah, you would know him in the world now by his revelations; yet the children of men sleep and cannot see in the spirit. You say you await Elijah, but if he were here mocking you for your slowness to perceive, you would not recognize him. Take out your little dagger and toss it aside for the sword of God, then your vision will be increased.
